Morehead City Angler About To Set Record
Amy McMullan of Ocean Isle Fishing Center may soon set a new IGFA world record for her recent catch of a king mackerel weighing 41 pounds, 6 ounces on just 8 pound test line. She currently has an application in to the IGFA, and if it's approved she will be the women's world record holder for that line class. Her king exceeds the current world record set in 1995 by 6 ounces. Congrats to Amy, we are excited to see that some folks still like to battle the big ones with light weight gear. We'll keep you posted on the status of her world record as we hear it.
