Outer Banks Wild Horse Shot Near Corolla
While not exactly fishing news, we're hoping that someone out there might be able to lend a hand with this one. It appears that some jackass shot and killed one of the Outer Banks' wild horses last week near Corolla. Officials found a pregnant wild horse that had been shot and killed near the dunes of Swan Beach in Currituck County. The Corolla Wild Horse Fund is offering a reward of $8,576 to anyone who can help bring the culprit to justice and anyone with information should call the Currituck County Sheriff's Office at (252) 453-8204.
