Two 500 Pound Bluefin Tuna in One Hour
Most bluefin tuna are caught in the northern half of North Carolina's waters, but Captain Brant McMullan of Ocean Isle just proved that a little luck and skill can land the big ones even farther south. Thursday afternoon McMullan hooked up with not one, but two 500 pound bluefin tuna in under one hour. While the bluefin season has been a little slow to get going this year, big bluefin have been biting more and more over the last few weeks.
