North Carolina's tidal shoreline, which includes sand bars, islands, bays and the mouths of rivers, measures 3,375 miles; more than all states but a very few. Scattered throughout our amazing coastline are hundreds of NC marinas and great boat landings to help you take advantage of it.

The most complete and up to date list of NC marinas and boatyards is maintained by the NC Marine Trades Services. The list is maintained as a free service for coastal marine businesses and almost every coastal marina in NC is included. A helpful search option allows users to search by city, county, region, and specific amenities. The NC Wildlife Resources Commission maintains an extensive network of public boat landings along the coast. These NC boat landings include excellent launch facilities and are a great way to access our coast.
